Move every day for good emotional health

We all want to feel good in our bodies, to move freely without aches and pains and to avoid those niggling injuries. To achieve this, a variety of regular exercise will mean we use different muscle groups, enjoy different movement intensities which will help us to stay committed and interested.

Good emotional health helps us deal with the stresses and strains of everyday life. When juggling the demands of work and family, taking time out can often seem near impossible. We will all have those days but they don’t need to defeat us – finding 5 or 10min for a guided meditation or (my favourite) ‘legs up the wall’ can make the day feel easier and help you to cope.

This year, make that commitment to yourself, move your body… every day.
