What a delicious twist!
If you suffer with a tight, sore lower back, this is a wonderful way to relieve the tension.
To start, lie on your back, hugging the knees to chest.
Release the knees and let them gently fall to the left side. Stretch your arms wide and look over your right shoulder. Ensure that the full extent of your arms and shoulders are in contact with the mat. Breathe and release further into the stretch.
Take it to the other side… float knees to right side, taking the head to the left.
To deepen the stretch, wrap the legs, taking the botton ankle and placing it on the top knee.
